We start the week with a visit to a recently opened and purpose built large garden centre. We then head to Bombay Sapphire for a gin making tour and lunch at this historic distillery.
Spending the afternoon visiting Stewarts Garden Centre in Christchurch and Haskins Garden Centre near Southampton , where we will spend the evening.

The Garden of England and London – Tuesday 3rd September
Starting at Coolings, an award-winning plant focussed garden centre, we will be showcasing highlights of the GCA’s annual plant area award, with a presentation from one of the judges.
Ruxley Manor Garden Centre follows and a visit to Pixie Manor – home of the Ruxley fairies and dragons. We enjoy afternoon tea at Millbrook Garden Centre’s newly opened restaurant before boarding a boat at Greenwich.
Floating through on the Thames through London in the afternoon and evening and taking in the sights with a stop for a ‘flight’ on the London Eye.

Changing of the Guard – Wednesday 4th September
Enjoying a slightly later start to the day delegates are invited to a morning presentation highlighting the GCA’s annual inspection process and showing best practice from the award-winning garden centres awards.
The admin meeting follows.
Stepping outside our hotels we will enjoy the spectacle of the Changing of the Guard. It is a short journey to Wisely Gardens – home of the Royal Horticultural Society with their newly opened retail centre. After lunch we will visit 2 very different Squires Garden Centres, finishing with dinner at one of them.

North of London – Thursday 5th September
Visiting several Garden Centres in the morning including Ayletts with their amazing Dahlia Festival.
We spend the afternoon at Hatfield House enjoying a drink reception in the private gardens of Lord and Lady Salisbury and a Medieval Banquet in the magnificent 15th Century Great Hall.

Kew Gardens and Windsor – Friday 6th September
Our congress would not be complete without a visit to the world-famous Kew Gardens.
We stop in Esher to visit Garsons Garden Centre and end the week with a tour of Windsor Castle before the Gala Dinner at the hotel.
